Since his appointment as President of the Zhengzhou University of Technology in August 2023, Professor Bai Zhonghu has spearheaded a major talent drive. This initiative has brought in 34 full-time PhDs, 57 senior faculty members, two academic vice presidents, and one distinguished professor, as well as three leading international scholars through flexible partnerships. He has also launched the Young Talent Program, with an initial group of five participants chosen to be mentored. His Jincai Courses initiative has brought lecturers from premier institutions, such as the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Tianjin University, and Renmin University, to over 800 faculty and students.

2023年8月，白仲虎教授受聘担任郑州工程技术学院校长。在白仲虎的带动下，学校全职引进博士34人、高级职称教师57人、学术副校长2人、特聘教授1人，柔性引进国际顶尖学者3人。启动郑工“青年英才”计划，首批遴选5位培养对象进行重点培养。通过“金才课程”邀请南京航天大学、天津大学和中国人民大学等国内一流学者授课，覆盖青年教师及学生800余人次。
