Metro Lines 7 and 8 unveil new horizons for the city! As 2024 came to a close, Zhengzhou's Metro Lines 7 and 8 officially opened, bringing the city's total operational metro rail length to 450 km. This milestone means Zhengzhou has joined the rank of world-class metro cities.

Recently, the first phases of Zhengzhou Metro Lines 7 and 8 were officially opened to the public. With this, Zhengzhou has completed the third phase of its urban rail transit development plan, reaching a total operational track length of 450 km and surpassing the 400 km threshold for world-class metro cities. Zhengzhou now ranks 10^th nationwide for operational metro line length.
